Braved the heat while wearing this jacket today, wasn't too bad, but my goodness has it been hot lately here in the 956...like I'm talking triple digit heat ALL WEEK! Today I repeated two articles of clothing (my lace top & military jacket) but dressed them, first of all, together, and second, differently than the last time I wore them. I'm loving the combo of lace and cheetah print, it's so sweet as well as elegant. I worked today and am now finishing up a mini research paper I had to write for my class, but I'm also pretty excited because I aced my first mid-term with a 98! I can't complain y'all...I can't complain.

I had to get all dressed this evening, because at my work we are having a "private shopping" event with finger foods, wine, prizes, and a private shopping with our newest inventory right now of the box, hung, and ready to be sold! It was a last minute notice thing, but I have to take some pictures for our blog, so here I go. After though, I'm hanging with my girlfriends, so that'll be fun, and a good way to end my week! Happy almost Friday everyone.

This outfit was very "risky" and when I say that I mean because it's scorching hot here in south Texas. My car today read 106 degrees F... it simply takes walking to your car to your destination to make you glisten.. we'll say that, ha. Although it was probably too warm to wear this outfit, I got tons of compliments and everyone really liked this shirt. Time to unwind from the day and change into comfy pj's as well as read for school, tomorrow is my Friday! Got a long day planned for me, but I believe there WILL be room for ha nap, ha ;-)

A little fun with my camera today. It's been a good day today, full of emotions, and alone time. Shed some good tears today over my brother and realized sometimes we just need to cry! My week has been pretty calm so far, enjoying a lot of alone time and just spending time with myself; catching up with school reading and working. This romper I'm wearing today is so fun and I also got it in black too, it's so comfortable and has such a flattering fit. Fueled on coffee today and bright colors. It sure is hot today in the 956, like really hot. Keeping cool in this tank I got from my work, really cool print on it, reminds of of "Nirvana-grungy" kinda look. It feels like a break from being dressed up all the time. Doing this Monday lazy-style before I take off to the beach tomorrow with my mom, as well as put in a quick shift at work...and also attend my morning class! Hope y'all had a good weekend guys! Do anything exciting? I hung around with friends a lot and had a sleepover with my boyfriend.. fun stuff!

Sorry for the MIA y'all... I've been more in tune with my work blog and have abandoned my real one {super sorry}. Here's a compilation of photos that show what I've been up to these past coupe weeks. Also summer school has got me pretty busy, so my time is even more limited.. will try to post up more again.. only going to school two time a week for the second half of summer, so should have more time for both blogs. 4.) I'm extremely infatuated with Joaquin Phoenix, I love all his movies and know how many siblings he has, some of his personal life experiences, and how his family looks. (ha, yes.. I'm creepy)
5.) I've never been out of Texas (hopefully that changes soon)
6.) I'm only 4'11" ..maybe 5'0 ...yes, I'm very short >_<
7.) I'm very afraid of cockroaches .. I'll scream loud, jump, run, close my eyes, anything to make myself get away from the situation..and someone else has to kill it...I can't imagine trying, then I miss & it runs away ... heck no!
8.) I've worked, in retail, a pet store, a coffee shop, and now a boutique. . I try to have gotten experience in everything to have put myself in ones shoes.. although I couldn't do waitressing or bank telling. . both seem too stressful & kudos to those who do!
9.) I'm 1 of 6 siblings! Although three are "halves" I consider them my normal brothers and sister, we are all close, thankfully.
10.) I'm not one to cry or express my feelings, but if I see an animal in harm or animal control picking up a pup... you can bet your bottom dollar I turn into the biggest baby and cry like no tomorrow.
